The VX mouthpiece is the very latest in our exciting line of Verus products. The unique VX profile breathes new life into a familiar design: elegant and shapely, yet keenly refined. Gleaming in silver-plated brass, the VX is crafted to be balanced and accessible for all players. The cup shape is a Chicago-style bowl, which results in a sound that is ringing and complex. It is available in three different bore sizes (#12, #14 and #16).

Compatibility

All Verus VX rims and cups are equipped with standard Giardinelli threads and a .660″ junction, making them compatible and completely interchangeable with one another and with the vast majority of rims and cups on the market, including the entire line of standard Houser mouthpieces. This compatibility extends to our Houghton Horns two-piece cups, and nearly any other ‘Giardinelli-threaded’ parts.

Most products receive a 15-day return policy that starts on the day the customer receives their order. The customer is responsible for the cost of initial and return shipping, except in the case of new French horns, trumpets, and trombones, which will receive free return shipping from 48 US states. There will be a $5 cleaning fee for each returned mouthpiece.

Some product categories are ineligible for return, which include special orders, sheet music, consumables such as lubricants or cleaning snakes, and personal items such as clothing or face masks.

For non-US customers, shipping, taxes, duties, and customs fees are non-refundable.
