Besson Compensating Euphonium Serial #: 403760 (Pre-Owned)

This Besson Compensating Euphonium is from the 1970's. The primary material on this instrument is yellow brass. This horn originally had a medium size bore, but has since been changed to a small bore. The original bore is included with the sale and can be reattached if desired. All slides and valves have minor oxidation and move with relative ease. The pads on the water keys have been replaced recently, so they create a solid seal. The lyre socket is still intact on the horn, but is missing the screw that would hold the lyre in place.

The horn still plays beautifully, however there are slight visual markings, such as wear on the lacquer and stress markings where repairs have been made.
