This horn s unrestricted and has an evenness throughout the full range. It has a wonderfully warm tone and is free-blowing. The upper register is easily accessible and has clear and pleasant sound.

Descant horns are typically built as double horns that stand in Bb with an F alto side that is shorter than the F side of a standard double horn. They are ideal for playing high, light literature. This horn in particular is excellent in an orchestral setting as well.
