Instead of guessing, students can try several rim sizes side by side and hear and feel the difference for themselves.

Small changes in rim size affect articulation, endurance, and how easily the horn responds. With the whole set on hand, a teacher can walk a student through each size and settle on the one that fits their embouchure best.

The set is built on the Laskey G Series, one of the most popular horn mouthpieces ever made. Its round rim with a high point toward the inner edge gives clean articulation and secure slotting, and the standard G cup balances clarity and color for nearly every player.

The standard set includes five mouthpieces, and we can adjust it to fit the needs of your school or studio.

Standard set: 75G (17.5 mm), 775G (17.75 mm), 80G (18 mm), 825G (18.25 mm), and 85G (18.5 mm)

Cup: G Series standard cup

Throat: .182" (#14), 4.62 mm, on every size

Finish: Silver-plated

Shank: American

Custom sets: Available on request

Want a different mix of sizes? Schedule an in-person or Zoom call with us and we'll put together the right set for your program.

European shank and gold-plated sets are available on request as special orders.
