This horn is being sold As-Is. We believe this horn was produced sometime after WWII in Germany. It is a C.F. Schmidt model. The horn has 3 rotary valves and 1 piston valve. This horn is surprisingly lightweight and has a beautiful tone. It is very responsive throughout and despite the ergonomics, can be played fairly easily. The flare is hand-hammered. The horn has had some repairs throughout its life, but has a lot of life left in it. Pitch is even throughout. Old-world German craftsmanship.
