Shipping policy

6.0     DELIVERY.

6.1     Items ordered via “Local Pickup” must be retrieved from Houghton Horns within 7 days or the order will be cancelled and the customer refunded. If there are special circumstances and you need us to hold an item longer, please contact us.

6.2     Seller does not guarantee delivery dates for any shipping method.

6.3     When the customer requests free shipping or a domestic ground shipping service, orders will be processed within 3 business days. Items shipped to the 48 contiguous U.S. states should arrive in 3 – 7 business days depending on delivery location. Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories and possessions will take an additional 2 – 6 business days for delivery.

6.4     Orders from outside the contiguous 48 states are excluded from free shipping promotions with the exception of military addresses. Due to carrier size restrictions not all items are available for shipment to military addresses. Free shipping promotions are not available for pre-owned instruments or Thein instruments. Free shipping promotions may not be available for tubas and other large, heavy, or bulky items – please discuss shipping options with us before purchase.

6.5     When the customer requests a domestic expedited shipping service, orders will be processed within 1 business day. Items shipped to the 48 contiguous U.S. states should arrive in 1 – 3 business days depending on delivery location. Items shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will take an additional 2 – 4 business days for delivery.

6.6     International (including U.S. Territories) shipping is available. Shipping time frames are dependent on various factors such as items selected, shipping destination, and the shipping method selected. Please be aware that UPS Worldwide DDP shipments may take 10-25 days to arrive, and consider an expedited service if the shipment is urgent.

6.7 For international (including U.S. Territories) customers, shipping, taxes, duties, and customs fees are non-refundable. In addition, if Houghton Horns is charged any unexpected taxes, custom fees, or duties for any reason, these will be charged to the customer.

6.8 Houghton Horns is not responsible for packages that are lost or mis-delivered because of an invalid or incorrect shipping address. The customer is responsible for providing Houghton Horns with a valid and correct shipping address. If a package is returned to us or sent to the wrong address, the customer is responsible for paying to have it shipped out again or paying for a replacement item.

6.9 Free shipping promotions are limited to three free shipments per product category within a three-month period.
