Special Orders
We keep many different models of instruments in stock, but no shop can stock them all. If the instrument you're dreaming of isn't on our shelves, we may be able to special order it for you — we'd love to help you build the sound of your dreams!
How Special Orders Work
Deposits. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to place a special order for an instrument. Special orders for accessories such as cases and mouthpieces must be paid in full when you place the order.
Balance Due. The 75% remaining balance on your instrument is due when we receive notice from the supplier or manufacturer that it is ready to be shipped to us.
Returns. Special orders for items we don't normally stock cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that are customized or modified by Houghton Horns or any other individual or business at your request cannot be returned or exchanged. The sale is final.
Changes and Cancellations. If you need to modify or cancel a special order, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to work with the manufacturer, but once your order is in production, it may be too late to change. See our Shipping Policy for details.
