If the return is authorized, we will email you a return shipping label. Place the product back in its original packaging and get it back in the mail to us within 3 business days.

Most products sold within the United States qualify for a 15-day return period that starts as soon as you receive your product. Some exceptions include sheet music, disposables such as lubricants or face masks, hand guard and straps due to sanitary concerns and stretching when fit, and clothing that show signs of wear.

Special orders and sales of customized items are final, no refunds or exchanges. 

Once the product returns to us, we will process your refund. Outgoing and return shipping will be deducted from your refund, except for new French horns, trumpets, and trombones, which receive free returns from the 48 contiguous U.S. states (restrictions apply). There will be a $5 cleaning fee for mouthpieces. If a product returns damaged, scratched, or stained, an additional restocking fee of up to 50% may also be incurred.

Non-US customers: As of May 12, 2025, we are unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for international orders due to the ongoing tariff situation. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to allow returns again soon.

Shipping, taxes, duties, and customs fees are non-refundable. In addition, if Houghton Horns LLC is charged any taxes, custom fees, or duties for any reason, they will be charged to the customer.
