What data do we collect?
We collect the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)
- Payment information (Credit card, check, etc.)
- Web server logs (Internet protocol (IP) address, internet service provider (ISP), operating system, browser type, date/time stamp)
How do we collect your data?

- Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
- Provide you with warranty service.
- Provide you with customer service (such as retrieving the serial number of a lost or stolen musical instrument for you, or providing a copy of an old receipt).
Where data protection law such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, our legal bases for this processing are: performance of a contract (processing your order and providing warranty and customer service), your consent (marketing emails and text messages), and our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, record-keeping, and improving our website).
We will share your data with our partner companies so that they can process your payment or help process your order.

International orders and data transfers – We are located in the United States, and your data is stored and processed in the United States. How long do we keep your data?
We keep customer records — including your contact information, purchase history, and instrument serial numbers — for as long as they remain useful for serving you and for meeting our legal and accounting obligations. Because we sell and service fine instruments that stay in use for decades, customers regularly ask us to retrieve old receipts, warranty records, appraisals, or serial numbers many years after a purchase, and retaining these records is how we are able to help.
If you would prefer that we delete your records, you may request erasure at any time (see What are your data protection rights?). We will honor your request except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.
Web server logs are anonymized.
