Holton Pre-Farkas French Horn Bell Flare (*AS-IS*)
This is a vintage bell flare from a Holton french horn, made before the Farkas series was introduced in 1958. It has overall signs of wear, and the bell ring is not original. It uses Alexander threads, compatible with most horns, including new Holton models.
This early bell uses thicker-gauge brass, and compared to a modern bell can sustain louder volumes and project without the sound breaking up. It still has good resonance and response, ringing when flicked.
