Bart Van Lier's Mark II Personal model, with the popular Bronze Hand Slide that increases from 0.480 to 0.488 inches. Handmade in Germany, with an optimized leadpipe venturi and bell, resulting in an instrument at home in both the concert hall or jazz stage. Includes a case and mouthpiece.

Bart van Leir is the Principal Trombonist with the Metropole Orkest, with which he can be heard on many recordings and with guest soloists such as Al Jarreau, Zoot Sims and Toots Thielemans. He also played in the orchestra Cubop Nueva Manteca, led the trombone quartet Bart's Bones, and has also recorded with Rein de Graaff.

“The warm tone of this slide is outstanding! Even the strongest fortissimo sounds warm and controlled. I can only recommend this bronze slide of Kühnl & Hoyer's!“

- Bart Van Lier

Some thoughts from our staff:

Don't let the bore size and bell diameter fool you, this trombone plays larger and warmer than its specs! While similar in spec to the King 2B , it plays more freely like the King 3B Plus (0.525" Bore and 8" bell), with an even better high range and consistent timbre. Its rich and clear tone blends well with F-attachment Trombones and other instrument groups.
