The Conn 11D is a modern French horn that blends innovative engineering with the most desirable characteristics of both Geyer- and Kruspe-style designs. Created over two years in collaboration with top horn players and expert technicians from across the country, the 11DN features a mouthpipe that offers the open feel of the classic 8D while preserving the effortless response found in more compact instruments. Its medium-sized bell delivers the rich, dark tone of the 8D while also providing the brilliance and projection typical of a smaller bell.

Newly designed F branches improve the instrument’s ergonomics and overall balance. Paired with an adjustable finger hook, these updates ensure a comfortable playing experience for a wide range of hand sizes and playing styles.

This instrument has several spots of red rot along the lead pipe and at the bottom of the horn along the “top” of the bell tail near the slides. None of the red rot is currently leaking but it will become an issue in the future.

Most products sold in the United States receive a 15-day return policy that starts on the day the customer receives their order. The customer is responsible for the cost of initial and return shipping, except in the case of new French horns, trumpets, and trombones, which will receive free return shipping from 48 US states. There will be a $5 cleaning fee for each returned mouthpiece.

Some product categories are ineligible for return, which include special orders, sheet music, consumables such as lubricants or cleaning snakes, and personal items such as clothing or face masks.

Unfortunately, as of May 12, 2025, we can no longer offer returns, exchanges, or refunds to international customers due to the tariff situation. We hope to restore international returns soon.
