We have taken the most iconic features from our best vintages, including our Mount Vernon style bell construction, NY style cast nickel Z braces, and adding a modern and consistently precise leadpipe. Ultimately, our 19037 series creates the most even sound, fastest response, and focused sound at every dynamic level.
Bach’s Research & Development team examined the most famous horns in Bach’s history to identify the optimal weight, construction, material, and assembly of Bach’s valve cluster. As a result of our efforts, we have produced a newly designed valve cluster delivering a faster response and a more vibrant sound. Nothing beats the sound of Bach.
Features
The Bach Artisan Anniversary model features a #37 one-piece hand hammered bell, with a side seam construction and round steel bead wire, craftsmanship found on Bach instruments of the Mt Vernon and Early Elkhart period. The unique combination of materials results in a sound that offers the depth and richness associated with the #37 taper bell, with the response and feedback of old-world craftsmanship. It is built on an ML .459” two-piece valve chassis, with nickel silver upper balusters and brass lower casing, producing and larger range of harmonics and increased response. Further trimmed with nickel silver outer slides and cast Z braces, for both durability and increased resonance. A new finger hook design inspired by New York, Mt. Vernon, and Elkhart eras, and special Anniversary bell engraving and valveblock stamp, provide excellent visual appeal.
