Good buy overall. Keeps the instrument safe, enough room for two mutes, room for mouthpieces, hard shell and there’s a pocket for music and other supplies. You get more for the price. Get the strap and save your arm.

Is this the right case for my horn?
The front of the case includes a smaller gusseted pocket with built-in storage organizer, perfect for your keys, pencils, or charging cables. The mute storage compartment on the bottom of the case opens over 60 degrees, capable of storing both your straight mute, stop mute, and even a mouthpiece pouch! The 2.5mm padded backside pocket is also large enough to store a standard music folder up to 13.75” or an iPad Pro 13” or smaller. And like many of our PRO PAC cases, this case becomes backpackable when paired with our optional backpack strap accessory (Model #BPSTRAP).
The interior section is just as loaded as the outside, with a large storage compartment towards the front of the case to store your cleaning supplies and valve oil. You will also find two body modular pods, to get the ideal fit for whichever French horn you have. The bell storage compartment is fully separated and secured with a strong magnetic clasp, just pull on the leather strap to gain access. The built-in 5mm padded bell sleeve can store bells up to 12.75” and is secured by a soft strap that is anchored down by strong hook and loop closures.
As with all Protec products, this case is responsibly made, with materials rigorously tested to be free of Lead, DEHP, PAHS8, DBP, and BBP, giving you confidence in both safety and sustainability.

Loving it. Immediately became my new go to case. Saw ad they did on Instagram and I knew I instantly wanted it. Also bought the mouthpieces couple weeks back too, and are loving every single second of it.

Very well made. Fits large Kruspe wrap (Holton 479) perfectly. Great upgrade from PRO PAC PB316SB that has a similar shape and size but does not have the mute compartment. The mute compartment design is simply awesome, it fits the shape perfectly and it is spacious enough that my son can squeeze in both of his mutes (straight RGC and practice UpMute), each in a thin sack. Also the redesigned bell storage is a great improvement. Some changes are questionable (like the flap to cover zipper pulls and the double handle on side). Overall solid 4.75 stars.
