The Yamaha 668N is one of the most well-known professional horns that Yamaha made, known for its full sound and reliability. This instrument has been ultrasonically cleaned, recieved new rotors strings and bumpers, and inspected by our world-class shop. Cosmetically, around 80% lacquer remains, and there are no signs of major wear/repair. Mechanically, the rotors and slides function well, the compression of rotors 1 to 3 are within standard use range, the most-used trigger is slightly worn but still playable for a least a decade. Includes the original Yamaha-badged case.

From Yamaha: This orchestral French horn is designed for players who prefer the strong sound of a large bell instrument. Characterized by deep, warm tone colors, the 668 features secure note centers and impeccable intonation. It is available in yellow brass or nickel-silver.

Most products sold in the United States receive a 15-day return policy that starts on the day the customer receives their order. The customer is responsible for the cost of initial and return shipping, except in the case of new French horns, trumpets, and trombones, which will receive free return shipping from 48 US states. There will be a $5 cleaning fee for each returned mouthpiece.

Some product categories are ineligible for return, which include special orders, sheet music, consumables such as lubricants or cleaning snakes, and personal items such as clothing or face masks.

Unfortunately, as of May 12, 2025, we can no longer offer returns, exchanges, or refunds to international customers due to the tariff situation. We hope to restore international returns soon.
