This S.E. Shires Custom Model 200 configuration was selected by Dr. Derek Wright for its broad, resonant sound, rich overtones, and open feel. Its Geyer-style wrap and yellow-brass construction provide a flexible foundation for expressive playing.

A medium-weight spun bell flare pairs with an extra-lightweight bell stem, while the H1Y leadpipe supports an expansive response. The modular mouthpiece receiver accommodates US- and Euro-shank mouthpieces.
