Thein Brass handcrafts trumpets, trombones, and other brass instruments in Bremen, Germany. Most models are offered with a wide range of bells, leadpipes, metals, and finishes, so players can tailor the instrument to their sound.

The MH One is one of Thein's most popular trumpets, developed with trumpeter Matthias Höfs. The goal was flexibility: a trumpet with fast response, a wide range of colors, and very good intonation and tone separation in every register, at home in the orchestra or on lead.

This is the C trumpet version. Both the bell and leadpipe are changeable, so the trumpet can be set up for different settings and adjusted over time. This one has Thein's #10 bell in yellow brass with a Mainzer rim, a half-round wire soldered to the bell edge that adds clarity to the sound. Thin 0.016" walls help it respond quickly. Thein recommends its 1-1/2C or 1-1/2CF mouthpiece. See the Thein mouthpiece guide for the full lineup.
