The Bach Classic 5G is a popular all-around tenor trombone mouthpiece, a step larger than the 6-1/2A that comes with many Bach trombones. It gives you a full, rich sound while staying comfortable across the range.
This is the small shank version. Small shank mouthpieces fit most small bore straight tenor trombones, sometimes called "peashooters."
No two players have the same lips or teeth, so the right size is personal. If you're not sure, we're happy to help you choose.

The Bach Classic Series
Bach began with mouthpieces. A century ago, trumpeter Vincent Bach started designing his own after a broken mouthpiece, and he kept refining them until settling on the standardized designs that became today's Classic Series. Bach Classic mouthpieces are the most played mouthpieces in the world.
