This version is intended for trombone mouthpieces; the horn, trumpet, and trombone versions are separate products.
Houghton Horns highly recommends keeping mouthpieces enclosed in a pouch or separate compartment so they do not rattle around inside your case and damage your instrument. Even if the case includes a dedicated slot for a mouthpiece, we have seen them get loose and dent horns.
Houghton Horns normally orders these pouches without hook-and-loop material on the back. That is separate from the closure: the pouch still closes with hook-and-loop fastening, but the standard back is not configured to attach to the interior of the case. You can special order a pouch with the hook-and-loop backing at no extra cost.
