The WhispeRing is a smart sound-reducing addition to our horn mute. The system consist of two felt rings that can be used separately or combined over the mute, allowing you to adjust the level of sound reduction to suit your needs.
In many situations, the large ring already provides sufficient sound reduction for practice use. When additional reduction is required, both rings can be used together, without sacrificing too much playing comfort.
The small ring is also ideal for orchestral performances. Soft passages, such as Dvorak’s Symphony 9 or Mahler’s Symphony 1, can be played at a comfortable mf dynamic while producing a much softer sound.
