To achieve consistent material in the complete conical area of the horn, the bell is hand-hammered in one piece from the rotor section to bell ring. This is custom made to the exact contours and wrap of the instrument, unlike other horns that incorporate ferrules or mixed sections of tubing.
Paired with a unique change rotor, that achieves a consistent bore size and balanced feel on both F and Bb sides of the horn.
