Each consignment horn that we sell is thoroughly tested by our staff to ensure that you are receiving a quality product. These are the thoughts that were shared by our staff:
This Patterson triple is a rare find, and performs very well! It was professionally played by a well-known band in the northeast. It is a solid horn, with great compression and no history of major damage, and only 2 minor patches that reveal its working history. To prepare for consignment, it was serviced by our world-class repair shop, including fully dissassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, and rotor alignemnt with new bumpers and string.
The bell flare is hand-hammered, and measures at 12 3/16 (near 12.25") in diameter. To improve quality of life, Patterson also built this instrument with an adjustable pinky ring and trigger paddles, optional adjustable flipper, and plenty of waterkeys and pull-nibs on the commonly removed slides.
