The 180 series is the best-selling professional trumpet line in the world, and the 180S37 is its classic setup. With a #37 bell, #25 leadpipe, and .459" medium-large bore, it gives you a rich tone with even intonation and response from top to bottom. It's a versatile horn that's equally at home in jazz, concert, and solo playing. This is the silver-plated version of the Bach 18037.
What the model number means
- 180 is Bach's standard Stradivarius series, with a standard weight body and bell and the #25 leadpipe.
- S means silver plated instead of clear lacquer.
- 37 is the bell. It's Bach's most popular Bb bell, known for a rich, compact sound with great projection.
