The 190S43 pairs Bach's #43 bell, the most balanced bell taper in the Bach line, with the #26 leadpipe, an original Vincent Bach design. The leadpipe lets the bell's natural brilliance come through while giving you a wide range of dynamics and colors. A redesigned valve block, based on Bach's study of its most famous historic horns, adds a quicker response and a more vibrant tone.

It's a broad, brilliant trumpet that projects and plays with ease, at home anywhere from a pop stage to a brass quintet. Bach artist Rashawn Ross of the Dave Matthews Band plays this model. This is the silver-plated version of the Bach 19043.

What the model number means

  • 190 is Bach's premium Stradivarius series, with Mt. Vernon-inspired construction and a two-piece valve block.
  • S means silver plated instead of clear lacquer.
  • 43 is the bell. It's brighter and more open than the popular #37.
