Which formula do I need? Meinlschmidt's numbers correspond pretty closely to Hetman's, if you have used that in the past. Also look at the Meinlschmidt website, which has detailed descriptions and care instructions.

I love the Meinlschmidt oils I got ! I use them for my 70 yr old Conn 8D French Horn so it will continue to play for my granddaughter for 70 more years!

I play an Adams euphonium and Adams ships their horns with Meinschmidt products. I’ve kept using them and am happy to find you as my local brass store no longer has the ones I need and it may close before too long. Meinschmidt keeps valves fast and slides smooth.

I have been searching for a slide grease that worked this well and applied this easily for some time, and it seems like I could get one or the other. This does both well.

I use J. M. lubricants on my Schagerl rotary trumpet; 13.5 on the rotor bearing, 1 on the rotors (a couple drops down the removed valve slides) and 15 on the linkages. Very fast action!
