The Laskey F Series has a cup that is slightly deeper and more funnel-shaped than the popular G Series. It's similar to a traditional Farkas model, with the precision and consistency Laskey is known for.

The rim is round with a clear high point toward the inner edge. That shape gives you clean articulation, secure slotting, and easy flexibility from the bottom of the range to the top.

The F Series produces a thicker, rounder sound with the same precise attack as the G Series. It's an excellent choice if your sound is naturally on the brilliant side and you want to round it out, and it makes a warm, expansive sound easy to find.

Laskey names each size by its approximate inside rim diameter, so a 17.25 mm rim is the 725F. Every size shares the same cup and throat, which makes it easy to move up or down a size without changing your sound.

American shanks fit most horns. European shanks fit Alexander horns and several other European brands. Some brands, like Yamaha, use a combination taper that takes either shank, and horns from makers like Dürk come with two receivers so you can use either one.

Always confirm mouthpiece fit with your instrument's manufacturer before you buy, or schedule an in-person or Zoom call with us and we'll help you verify the shank you need.
