Previously I had a leather handguard and a velcro hand strap separately. This kills 2 birds with one stone. What I like about it most is that it is not too long. Other handguards are so long that they get under the trigger, and I have next to zero clearance for a handguard. With the Protec guard/strap, I don't have to worry about cutting a hole in the strap for trigger clearance. Highly recommended!
Love it works amazing!
The distance from the top edge of the strap, where my first knuckle fits, and the hole through which the little-finger hook would pass, are too far apart. I had to make a kluge with string to make it work properly, so the little finger is carrying no load from the horn. I strongly recommend that you make that distance just a bit too short. The velcro strap over the hand can always be loosened to let the horn sit farther away! If you send me a modified strap to test, I would give you a critique.
