The S.E. Shires Vintage New York tenor trombone draws inspiration from classic New York and Mt. Vernon bell designs. Its one-piece yellow-brass bell uses the broad TII taper to produce a rich, warm sound with a strong fundamental and consistent tonal character across dynamics.

A .547-inch yellow-brass handslide with nickel-silver bass crook provides an expansive sound and open feel. The axial-flow F attachment complements that breadth with smooth operation and an open low register.
