The MB-5 Flex is the latest variation on the extremely popular MB-5 line. It is approximately one inch larger than the MB-5 Baby cases so that it fits nearly any horn, including Yamahas. But it is still compact and airline-friendly. And with the entire horn surrounded with a hard fiberglass shell, it is prepared for whatever bumps it may encounter on the road.

I needed a sturdy case for my new Yamaha 871 that could be a carry-on for every major airline. The Houghton Horns own Josh Davis was super helpful and sent me the case all set up for the 871! We flew recently and I placed the case in every carry-on sizing box for every airline and it FIT everyone. Not to mention it’s a fantastic looking case!!! Thanks Houghton Horns and Josh!! We bought it as a surprise birthday gift for our niece and she started crying when she opened it. It fits twice as much and weighs half as much as her old case. Thank you for a superior product!

Love the case, but the customer service was only fine. When I called, the people I talked to seemed unsure. Once I placed my order, a representative contacted me because the color I wanted was not available, despite the website saying it was. Every email was really nice and I love the color of my case now, but I wish the site was completely accurate to what is in stock.

Worth every penny!
I am happy with the quality of the case and look forward to using it, after I figure out how to attach the straps. I expected to clip them on. I read the card that showed the QR code to learn how to put the straps on, which I thought was unusual. Using the QR code, it took me to a video that I watched and still had questions. Is there any way I can order straps that simply clip on?? I haven't used the case yet because of the straps.
